This stylishly furnished log cabin offers premium accommodation in the Hrubý Jeseník Protected Landscape Area, in the picturesque mountain village of Filipovice at the foot of Červenohorské sedlo, just 100 m from the ski area.

About the cabin

The log cabin is a new build completed in 2017. It was constructed in a traditional style using natural materials only: cedar, oak and ash wood, glass, stone, hand-forged details, sheep-wool insulation and a slate roof. All furniture, including the beds with high-quality orthopaedic mattresses, was custom-made from solid oak.
In the evening you can relax by the traditional tiled stove. On the kitchen side it includes a cooker and oven; in the living area it features a glazed firebox, a bench and a heated sleeping platform. Together with the electric boiler, the stove heats the house and the water.
The cabin also offers two saunas — Finnish and infrared — together with a natural swimming and cooling pond in the garden.

We recommend Roubenka U Svahu to everyone looking for a peaceful holiday in luxurious surroundings. A small mountain village in enchanting countryside, a calm and quiet setting, and a stylish log cabin that blends beautifully into the landscape. Both adults and children enjoyed the holiday. The children loved relaxing on the heated stove platform, helping with the tiled stove, bathing in the claw-foot tub and using the sauna in the evening before cooling down in the clean garden pond. There are two nearby restaurants with children’s playgrounds and plenty of options for day trips. The ski slope is close in winter and the forest is on the doorstep in summer. An ideal holiday for couples and families with children.

Complete peace with no passing traffic, as the village lies away from the main road. At night there is total darkness without light pollution. All of this is set in beautiful countryside, with cycling and hiking trails beginning in the forest just above the cabin. A place we will gladly return to and warmly recommend.

This cabin is one of our completed projects and a showcase of our work. The kitchen and staircase combine textured oak, granite and hand-forged details. The furniture and floors are made from solid wood, and the windows are traditional double-casement windows.
The retro-style bathrooms use premium materials including limestone flooring, marble wall tiles, glass and hand-forged details.
